What fun we had at Chesterfield Farm…

What a fun day we had at our excursion today! Thankyou to Marnie, Susie, Leah and Nick for your assistance on the day. Today strengthened our love for animals and our want to do more for the Orangutans.

shocked!!! The students compared their old writing book to their current learning book. Wow what a surprise the students had, excited by how far they have come but also having a little giggle at their first writing attempt.

“Woahhhh! Did you see that? The scuba diver sinks and then floats back up!”

Science.is.the.coolest.

What a day of fun the Preps had. They had to follow a very strict set of steps to set up their scuba divers, however, once precisely followed, they were able to squeeze and release their water bottles to train their scuba diver to sink and rise respectfully. Pretty neat.

The preps had an awesome day on Friday participating in many different science experiments and playing maths games. We were having such a fabulous day that Star News came to see all the fun we were having and took some photos for the newspaper!

What a great day, we look forward to doing more science throughout the year!
