Over the last three weeks, the Prep children have been involved in Language Experience activities, designed to give them hands on encounters in the areas of Cooking, Science and Craft, to further develop their vocabulary and knowledge of different topics. This develops their general knowledge and helps them when reading to relate to characters, events or information. They can also use the new words they have learned in their writing or conversations with others.

In Prep C, we have been making Apple Pizzas. If you want to make them too, here are the ingredients we used but you can have whatever toppings you like!

• Apples that have been cored and sliced
• Peanut butter or jam
• Sultanas
• Coconut
• Chocolate chips

Step 1: Spread peanut butter or jam or both on your apple.

Step 2: Put the toppings you like onto the apple.

Step 3: Eat and enjoy!
